Travelling back in time to the exotic desert and the time of the Roman occupation of Judea

Wealthy and spoiled American Samantha Pinkman has landed in trouble and been banished to spend the summer in Israel , working on an architectural dig. Sam would prefer a summer in Paris . Everything she touches goes wrong - from washing precious artefacts in the dishwasher to suffering dehydration, all witnessed by her nemesis, Joshua Ben-Sion.

Things go from bad to worse when the two are hurtled back in time to Roman occupied Jerusalem, where they are the only people who realise the tragedy that is about to unfold and they are in the race of their lives to unravel the mystery of their bizarre journey, to unlock the key to the future.

 

REVIEWS:

Janelle Benham pens an interesting and different time-travel romance. It was so much fun to go back to Biblical Jerusalem and learn about the customs of another race. Reading WOMAN OF VALOR made me think of the Serenity Prayer. WOMAN OF VALOR is a wonderful story with lessons we'd all do well to learn.
