Rows of Gothic French-inspired architecture line the cobblestone streets of this medieval “French” town, but do not be mistaken, you aren’t in the 16th-century Colmar town, northwest of Alsace in France — obviously, by the presence of lush rainforests that enclose this magical town.
Step Into French Aristocracy At Colmar Tropicale
Worry not, you haven’t been whisked away from equatorial Southeast Asia. You’ve simply stepped foot onto Berjaya Hills’ Colmar Tropicale — a luxurious French-themed resort located under an hour’s drive away from Kuala Lumpur.
Upon arriving, guests will be met by medieval gates, half-timbered buildings, and cobblestone streets. And like all European cities, there’s also a huge “castle” with a drawbridge and a swan-filled moat encapsulating this pseudo-European experience.
Indeed, Colmar Tropicale is a veritable Instagram playground for millennials. There’s literally a perfect IG post waiting to happen at every corner in this resort. But aside from the obligatory #POTD, #OOTD, and #wanderlust posts, there are plenty of other activities to do in Colmar Tropicale like taking a short and scenic hike or partaking in the most decadent spread of French cuisine.
Along with that, a visit to the nearby Japanese Garden to get your zen on is recommended. And on the flip side, Adventure Park is where you need to be to get your dose of adrenaline.
